Plans include Len Bias documentary & book update
GoGrady Media has begun a campaign to improve effective decision making skills in teenagers and young adults. As part of the 34 + 1 campaign, production has begun on a documentary about former Maryland basketball star Len Bias.
The documentary, tentatively titled Born Ready: A Mixed Legacy, will examine the mixed and complex legacy of Bias and is is based on the book, Born Ready: The Mixed Legacy of Len Bias .
Here's a sample reel of the documentary:
The campaign, launched on June 19, 2020--the 34th anniversary of the death of Bias--will also include an update of the book and an increased focus on the Born Ready Project.
The campaign comes at a critical time when decision making plays an important role in dealing with the Coronavirus crisis and the increased awareness of the mistreatment of people of color.
